2. What does the Posting Interface do?

The Posting Interface is a nifty piece of software that works in conjunction with the fan fiction archive. When you submit your story (as a text file) through the posting interface, it will upload your story, create it as an HTML file and write information to the database. This means you can upload your own stuff, and as soon as you do, it's immediately available.

Furthermore, the archive can break your story into correctly-sized chunks, generate your headers, and post the story to the mailing list. Please note that your story won't be broken up into parts when it is uploaded to the archive -- only in 400 line chunks in the e-mails sent to the mailing list.
