4. What the heck IS slash, anyway?

Generally, slash contains some sort of romantic and/or sexual relationship between characters of the same gender. So, UST (unrequited sexual tension) stories make it in. Full-blown grand schmooping romance makes it in. Stories in which the main characters shtup like bunnies all over the place make it in. Stories where one of the characters has a desperate longing for another and fantasizes about shtupping madly make it in. Humorous stories in which the characters keep trying to get into bed with each other but circumstances intervene make it in.  For a more detailed explanation about slash, check out this page:
